In a world where the majority of our relationships are mediated by technology, communication can become increasingly difficult. If you haven’t noticed, the way we communicate has become increasingly mechanistic. We use our phones, our emails, and our texts to communicate. All of which means that we communicate differently than we did five or ten years ago.
The problem is that we have become so used to communication being mediated by technology that we don’t notice when communication is really happening in the first place. This is especially true with the kind of technology we now have to use to access the internet. We just click on websites and start reading. There are things we can do with that, but we don’t realize that those are actually things we can do with our internet.
The internet is full of communication channels. They are made out of wires and cables. We can communicate through the internet by physically connecting to the internet. But we can also communicate through a computer interface. The internet is a big bunch of things all together.
So to summarize, we have a bunch of communication channels on the internet (the internet) and we can communicate with the internet. But as the internet becomes more mechanistic, your communication is going to move from being a physical connection through the internet to a virtual connection through a computer interface you use in your computer.
While there are some people who will still prefer a more physical connection, our generation is more likely to use computers for their virtual connections than for their physical connections. And we are getting a lot more mechanical as time goes on.
This is important because the internet is becoming increasingly mechanistic. It’s important because our communication needs are becoming increasingly mechanistic. And it’s becoming increasingly more mechanistic because of the internet.
This is not an exaggeration. The internet is becoming increasingly mechanistic because of the fact that it’s becoming more pervasive, more ubiquitous, faster, and with more features. And as it becomes more ubiquitous, it’s also getting faster. And that’s all happening because of the internet.
But a common mistake people make is to think that because mechanistic communication is more “organic” communication that it can’t be mechanistic. Well, you’re wrong. Because it can be mechanistic and it can be organic. That doesn’t mean that it’s bad, because in fact, the internet is becoming mechanistic because it’s becoming more ubiquitous and more mechanistic.
