I see a lot of my friends go to the gym, and some of them do it religiously. They’ll make a special list of what they’ll do before and after and they’ll go on it. I’m not sure what their reasons are. I think it’s because they just want to be in shape.
Well, I know for myself, I just think that I just want to look good. Ive had to suffer from many injuries in my life, and I want to be a lot stronger than I ever was. I remember being able to run for 8 hours, but now I walk for an hour and a half at a time and then I have to sit down and take care of my injuries because I can’t take any more. I think thats why I love to be in shape.
I think the motivation for getting into shape comes from knowing you’ll be back for the next cycle. When you are in shape, you feel like you can take on any challenge. When you are in pain or injury, you feel like you need to give it your all. So I guess you just have to know when to give it your all. I think that a lot of people don’t realize how important it is to have a good body.
