Before the deep pantry organization, I would start by thinking about what I am going to do with my food. It never occurred to me that I would have to organize my pantry, and I have never really needed it. After the pantry organization, it hit me that I would need a place to keep all of my spices, dried herbs, spices and herbs, and the cooking ingredients I use.
The pantry was not a huge help in organizing my kitchen. I have a spice rack that I use to store all of my spices, but I also have a small fridge and a small pantry to keep the food that I just tossed into the fridge. And that’s about it. I use all of these items in my kitchen, with two exceptions: I keep my spices in the spice rack and I have an extra spice cabinet built into my pantry.
The spice cabinet was another place I used to keep my spices. It was also where I kept all of the ingredients that I cook with. I would have to go back and replace spices I had used. I also kept the spices I use on occasion in the spice rack and pantry. I didn’t want to go back and grab a bunch just for myself, plus I’ve already used half of what I had.
