A kitchen zone is essentially a zone of movement within the kitchen. The first zone is the zone of the chef. The second zone is the zone of the cook. The third zone is the zone of the baker. The last zone is the zone of the housekeeper. These are like a kitchen’s three arms. You work in the kitchen, you work in the garden, and you work in the garage. These zones are important because they are where you spend your time.
