In my attempt to organize my closet and pantry I was faced with a dilemma. I needed to have everything neatly in place, but I also needed to be able to see everything at a glance. And since I had to keep it all in one place, I had to get rid of everything else. I had to decide between a simple, easy to keep up-to-date wardrobe, or an organized, but messy, wardrobe.
I decided on the messy one. I didn’t want to have to deal with the hassle of organizing my clothes and dishes, but I also didn’t want to be the one to clean up after myself. So instead of organizing everything myself, I decided to let someone else do it for me.
I’ve been thinking of having some sort of organizing system in my home, and I knew I wanted to make it as intuitive and easy to use and keep up-to-date as possible. I knew I wanted this to be a one-time thing, so I decided to design it for my own needs.
The system I came up with is called tiktoks.

Your iPhone will then give you an auto-completed picture of everything so you don’t have to click through your app to see what’s on your table.

Tiktoks is the tool I would recommend if you want a quick, organized way to put everything in the kitchen. It’s also a very useful tool when you have a lot of kitchen stuff so you can use it as a “base” or “starting point” for a whole bunch of other projects. I personally use it to organize my kitchen cabinets to give me a good, organized look and to make it easy to find things.
