Sometimes I think it’s because there is a shortage of people who are willing to share their systems with us. The more ideas we have, the more people we have to teach.
A good case in point is a business system we’ve tried out. We’ve got a couple of different ideas for a business system that we are looking for people to teach. One idea is to share our business systems with a business forum, and make everyone a member of the forum. Another idea is to have a business forum, but have all the people there be your potential customers.
This is a business system that weve been working on for years. It was originally built back in 2006 for a high school in the south of England called the University of Portsmouth. The idea was to teach students how to code. We wanted to give students something to do that they could do with their spare time, so when we came across the University of Portsmouth, we knew the system would work.
Unfortunately, it didn’t. The school had a policy of not allowing students to use a computer for homework because they were considered “to be learning disabled”. So we created a forum to allow students to test out our system. This also allowed students to test how the system would work on their own. Over the course of the first year, the system taught over a hundred students how to code the basics, then it was time for real work to begin.
We had to change some of the things we thought would be the most difficult in order to avoid any technical difficulties. Not only did we implement a password system, but we also had to implement a new security framework to keep track of things like IP addresses and passwords. But it was the most difficult thing we had to do.
After implementing the new framework and making sure that everything was taken care of, the students were ready to get down and doing business. But not everything was going smoothly. Some of the students were having problems logging in to their accounts, and because of this, we had to do some stuff to make sure their accounts would work. But it was the hardest thing we had to do.
Not only that, we were doing it in an environment where we were having to deal with some of the most annoying and stupid students we’ve ever encountered. Even though this is the very first time we’ve been able to interact with these students, these are the students who make us want to throw our hands in the air and scream at the top of our lungs. There is a reason you might hear us scream. We were literally screaming and yelling at the top of our lungs.
I know. It’s bad. I know. I know. But we just wanted to make sure we were as clear about this as possible. Because if we didn’t, we’d be in an awkward situation where we had to tell the entire faculty and staff about what was going on with us.
A lot of businesses get their start on a handshake deal. A handshake deal usually involves you paying up front (usually for a service) and then your business is then able to go into a lot of the “free” services that come with the business. But what if you don’t have a handshake deal? What if you’re just a guy who wants to help you manage your business and then you can go to your accountant and say “I need $2,000 for a laptop.
Well, a lot of businesses today have this system and they are very common. They often require you to pay to use the same services that you paid for upfront. But what if you don’t want to take that sort of risk? What if you just want to let your business grow? What if you need your business to grow quickly? The answer is simple, you need to stop paying for these services.
