Because you can easily build your own tiny house, it is great for those who are handy with a wrench or a drill. The instructions and videos are very clear and easy to follow. One thing is that the kit is heavy and requires a lot of space. This is a good thing because when you are building a tiny house, you will be spending a lot of time in your tiny house (we’ve had three tiny houses, all of which were very cramped).
I think it’s a good idea to have someone build your kit, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to just go to a store and buy a kit. You will save a lot of money on parts and building tools, but at the same time you will spend a lot of time in your tiny house in the end.
The tiny house that my wife and I built was a very simple build. First, we built a few shelves to hang a basket of eggs and supplies. Then we got a little bit of plywood and put some shelves in the other corner and nailed on the shelves. We then put the other corner of the shelves against the wall. We then filled the rest of the space with a bunch of stuff and nails.
I can’t really speak for why all this is done, but it seems like little changes like this are what keep tiny houses cheap to build. Even those who don’t like small houses will probably agree with this statement.

If you don’t like the small house idea, there is a large business for you. I recommend looking for tiny houses that have no walls, no bookshelves, no cabinets, and no counters. If they don’t have the tiny house features, they will make you pay a lot more money, and if they do, they are very likely to have the tiny house features.

If you have little kids, you’ll want to look at houses with no steps or stairs. You can always buy a large one with steps, but you won’t be able to climb up it.
When I first started looking for tiny houses, I was looking for houses I could put my kids in while keeping them out of the sun and other dangerous places, and then I found tiny houses. But there is a difference between “tiny” and “tiny house.” It’s not just about the house size. It’s about the actual features of the house.
