This is one of my favorite storage items because it is one more thing that I can throw in my back pocket. Because the freezer keeps our freezer space fresh, it keeps my freezer space organized.
I have put a lot of effort into our freezer space. In the past couple of years, I’ve added a freezer, a refrigerator, a freezer door, and a freezer rack to the end of our closet space. I’ve always stored our food in the freezer though, so I don’t know why I would be adding a freezer in the first place.
It’s because I’m a little obsessed with the idea of having my ice machine at the end of our kitchen, so I might as well go ahead and make it a permanent fixture.
The idea of an ice machine in the freezer and an ice maker on the counter is one that is pretty popular. I can’t remember the last time I ate a frozen treat and then went on to eat it out of the container like a normal person. My favorite frozen treat is a granola bar from Costco, but if you’re like me, you’ll probably need to go to the store and buy it yourself.
I’ve been trying to get a better handle on it. At my house, the ice machine is at the top of the freezer, and the ice maker is right on the counter. I guess I’ll have to try to make it work the other way around. But the idea of having a frozen treat in the freezer has definitely been a hit for me.
The idea of a freezer that runs itself sounds pretty exciting, and the concept does sound like a great one. Unfortunately, the way that I have been looking at it, it seems pretty counterintuitive. I’ve been thinking that if I can just buy a freezer that runs itself, I’ll be able to freeze my own ice and eat it out of the container like a normal person. But I’m not so sure.
