What we want to know is: Does the laundry room really look like a utility room? We haven’t actually seen it, but we do know this: It is a room that serves as a utility room. It has a sink, a toilet, and a shower. It isn’t a room with actual function. It’s basically a convenience room.

Although it might not seem like it at first, this is actually a great example of the difference between a utility room and a laundry room. In the former a person can use the space to wash his or her laundry, and in the latter a person can use the space to hang his or her laundry. It’s a nice idea on paper, but it does require a lot of space.
