You already know that Warframe is one of the best free-to-play gaming experiences available.

But what you might not know is the game’s impressive collection of missions, lore, and gear has attracted an entire population of obsessively devoted fans, the kind who devour everything about the game like crazy, sometimes to a frightening degree.

Since Warframe launched in 2013, these fools have cared nothing for your well-being; they’re always spamming you with invites to join their clan or spamming your inbox with high-octane videos about their latest (and usually overblown) accomplishments.

That’s fineWarframe has put up with it for years now because it genuinely does have a lot going on under its hood.

Here is the answer for, why are these fools still breathing my air

Warframe’s greatest strength is how it manages to be surrounded by some of the most insane, bizarre, and hyperactive communities out there.

The game has seamlessly incorporated some of the most colorful personalities into its own universe from the angry hippie kid who wears a leather jacket and doffs his fake moustache whenever he gets too excited to the German guy who almost literally speaks in memes.

There’s also an obsession with comboing: about half of Warframe fan content revolves around spamming abilities and combos (literally spamming them on enemies for massive damage), with certain people becoming famous for their ability to crunch numbers.

Here are some points about why are fools still breathing my air:-

1. Warframe is extremely successful in pretty much every metric.

It’s amassed over two million players since launch, the most in the free-to-play sector, with that figure growing by more than 40 percent just this year.

This level of success for a F2P game isn’t just impressive, it’s really unheard of.

2. It does have its flaws, though.

Players are quick to point out that Warframe’s combat gets repetitive really fast, for one, and its grind-heavy progression model is too high of a barrier for new players to get involved.

But the game’s massive success still points to one thing: it’s doing something right.

3. The community is a lot of fun.

The fanatical fan base delivers a sense of empowerment in a genre that’s already filled with it, and they’re always shouting out in-game lore details that have been long forgotten or have been slighted by the developers.

Warframe has always had a nuanced and interesting backstory going on behind the scenes, with this lore being something fans have enjoyed digging into for years now.

4. There’s an interesting world-building center behind the scenes.

For a while, the Warframe community was able to generate a lot of fun by speculating on the mysteries of the game’s universe, but they’d often run into barriers from the developers who weren’t willing to elaborate on some key aspects.

That changed when Digital Extremes began developing official lore, something they’d never done before.

5. The lore is more expensive than you think.

Warframe’s lore doesn’t just have one narrative, it has many, all of them being created in collaboration with some of the most creative minds in gaming.

The developers have even worked with artists to develop a sense of cohesion between their new storylines and their older ones, which were mostly player-driven.

6. There’s a distinct reason for this.

Warframe is the game that most encapsulates Digital Extremes’ philosophy, which has always been to make fun games instead of serious ones; they don’t want to make something like Destiny, with its tragic narratives and brooding stories.

It’s also a game that banks heavily on its community, something you’ll realize as soon as you see the high-octane fan content it delivers.

7. Warframe’s lore is all over the place in a good way.

It covers a multitude of topics from politics to pop culture, from sci-fi to religion, from self-actualization narratives to undead gods.

The official lore is less about the game’s characters and more about its world, giving fans plenty of details to analyze and crack jokes over.

8. The game has one true obsession.

There’s always been one thing Warframe fans have heavily invested themselves into, which is collecting every single item in the game.

The developers have taken note and they’ve even put out a newer update that ups the ante for this eternal quest to collect everything in the game by making you remove duplicates from your inventory before you can keep them all for good.

9. Players are very dedicated to their cause.

It’s a good thing they are Warframe has a couple of problematic systems that make it a slog to grind through everything.

So it makes sense that players would do their best to circumvent those issues as much as possible by coming up with clever ways to earn the game’s most valuable currency, platinum. Warframe is also known as a ‘pay-to-win’ game for this reason, but the developer has since taken steps to address this issue.
